We all know that buying clothes that fit us appropriately is a challenge and we’ve all spent way more time than we probably should have surfing the web trying to find shirts, jackets, pants and shoes that come in the right sizes. While it can sometime be a process purely based on trial and error, we have come across a few brands that either specialize in quality tall clothing or those that offer a decent selection for tall people. We wanted to highlight a few of them for you so you can hopefully save a few minutes when you are looking for some new clothes in the future.

Review: Clarks Desert Boots

Chukka boots are a staple in basically every modern man’s wardrobe. They go with nearly everything and really elevate any outfit they are paired with. There are numerous companies producing this style of boot but one of the most well-known is Clarks. Clarks introduced their “Desert Boot” at the 1949 Shoe Fair in Chicago and released it to the public in 1950.

Being tall is great. We all know that. We can dunk basketballs, reach things on the top shelf and never have to worry about having our view blocked at concerts. But it isn’t all sunshine and smiles. Finding clothes that fit us is a chore that many people just don’t understand. I haven’t been able to walk into a shoe store and buy a pair since I was about 15. The same holds true for things like cars, household tasks (low shower heads!), luggage and more.

Overall, it seems like tall people are at a greater advantage than those of us who aren’t. A lot of people are attracted to tall people because they make them feel safe, they usually don’t seem to pack on the pounds the way shorter people tend to do and studies have shown that they are more successful in their careers and earn more money. While shorter people don’t like to admit it, taller people seem to be more highly regarded. That being said, research has shown that when it comes to overall health, short people are less prone to heart disease, cancer, blood clots and more. They even live longer that their tall counterparts.
